On board are four astronauts: Reid Wiseman (Commander), Victor Glover (Pilot), Christina Koch (Mission Specialist), and Jeremy Hansen (Mission Specialist).
Reid Wiseman is originally from Baltimore and has been a NASA astronaut since 2009. As commander of the spacecraft, he focuses on the overall success of the mission, crew safety, spacecraft integrity, launching, and leading the crew as a whole. Wiseman has a bachelor’s degree from RIT and a Master’s from John Hopkins in Systems Engineering. He has flown one previous mission, the International Station on expedition 41.
